Which creature can you skin?

Up to level 20, the skill you need is (creature level - 10) x 10, at least 1. From level 20 on, it is the creature level x 5: level 20 needs 100, level 30 needs 150, level 40 needs 200, level 45 needs 225.

Goblin tips

  • Pair Skinning with Leatherworking, or with Mining/Herbalism to sell everything you gather.
  • Quick math from 100 skill: divide your skill by 5 to get the highest creature level you can skin.
  • You can skin beasts killed by other players once they have looted them.
  • Skinning can give scarce Pristine Leather, Hide or Scale: keep them for new recipes.
