Cookies and browser storage
No tracking, so no banner
We don't use tracking cookies, so we don't need to ask. One More Wipe sets no advertising, analytics or social media cookie, and loads nothing from third-party sites that could set one.
What we store
Here is everything the site keeps in your browser:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Kept for | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1mw-faction | Local storage (not a cookie) | Remembers your side (Horde, Alliance) or that you chose to stay neutral, so routes and colors match your faction. | Until you clear it | Strictly necessary |
| 1mw-legacy-progress | Local storage (not a cookie) | Remembers the Legacy challenges you ticked in the Legacy planner, so your points and rewards are counted. Only if you tick one. | Until you clear it | Strictly necessary |
| 1mw-show-both | Session storage (not a cookie) | Remembers that you chose "show both" factions on a list, while the tab stays open. Only if you use that link. | Until you close the tab | Strictly necessary |
| 1mw-guide-progress | Local storage (not a cookie) | Remembers the guide steps you marked as done (for example in the Onyxia attunement guide), so your progress bar is kept. Only if you tick one. | Until you clear it | Strictly necessary |
| 1mw-armory-recent | Local storage (not a cookie) | Remembers the last 10 characters you opened in the armory, to find them again. Only if you open one; "Clear" empties it. | Until you clear it | Strictly necessary |
| 1mw-armory-favorites | Local storage (not a cookie) | Remembers the armory characters you starred. Only if you star one. | Until you clear it | Strictly necessary |
| 1mw-armory-region | Local storage (not a cookie) | Remembers the region (Europe or Americas) you picked in the armory search. | Until you clear it | Strictly necessary |

Each one is strictly necessary for a feature you use (your faction's routes and colors, your Legacy points, the guide steps you have done), so they do not need your consent. They never leave your browser.
Visit statistics
We count visits with Umami, running on our own server. It sets no cookie and stores nothing in your browser, so it does not appear in the list above. Details and your right to object are on the privacy page.
How to clear them
- Switch side or pick "Stay neutral" at any time with the faction toggle in the header.
- Untick your challenges in the Legacy planner, or the steps you marked as done in a guide.
- To remove everything, clear the site data for 1mw.io in your browser settings (often under "Privacy" or "Site settings"). The site will then ask for your side again on the home page.
If this changes
If we ever add something that needs your consent, such as embedded videos that set their own cookies, you will be asked first, with "Accept" and "Refuse" buttons of equal size, before anything is loaded.
