Bank Alt & Mail Mule — A Second Vault, Friend!

Why you need one

• Banks are not shared. Each character has its own bank: there is no account or warband bank. (We checked it in the beta.)
• A mule adds a full second bank plus its own bags to your storage.
• Mounts and transmog no longer take space: mounts live in a collection and appearances are account-wide.

Set it up

1. Create the mule on the same ruleset and the same faction as your main. Mail never crosses factions, and each ruleset is its own world.
2. Give it a different first name from your other characters. During the beta, alts sharing a first name received each other's mail.
3. Walk it to a capital city and log out next to the mailbox and the bank. The capital is a rest area too.
4. From any mailbox, send items and gold to the mule's full name (first + second name). Items must be in your bags to attach them.

Good to know

• Postage costs copper: about 30 copper for a small set of low-level gear.
• An unread-mail icon shows next to the character on the character selection screen.
• Empty the mule's mailbox regularly: mail expires, and auction house mail is deleted with its contents when it does.
• On the PvP ruleset your account is locked to one faction, so the mule is always the same faction there.
• Sending gold to your own characters is normal play. One-sided trades from strangers can get the receiving account actioned.
• Nothing parked on the beta survives: beta characters are wiped.
