Beast Mastery Hunter in WoW Forever

1. Hunter's Mark, send the pet (which beast to tame: Hunter pets; some are rare beasts, listed with their spots in WoW Forever rares), Serpent Sting.
2. Summon Hawk on cooldown, keep 2 hawks out.
3. Aimed Shot on cooldown; Multi-Shot on packs.
4. Auto Shot until it drops (stand still 0.5 sec before it fires); Arcane Shot only when mana is capped.
5. Pulled aggro: Disengage.

• PvP: To verify in game

Hunter is S tier in Mobalytics' level 30 dueling list; BM pets are hard to kill and hit hard. Concussive Shot is a top tool against melee (Icy Veins).

• Skinning + Leatherworking while leveling. Engineering, Alchemy or Mining are valid. Keep First Aid up: it makes your healing potions now.

• 2026-10-15 — October 15 patch: Auto Shot needs 0.5 sec standing still before it fires (still fires while casting Aimed Shot); pets inherit the higher of your melee or ranged crit and benefit from Expertise.
• 2026-10-15 — October 15 patch: pet abilities nerfed (Crocolisk Dismember 25% / 6 sec / 15 sec cooldown; Bat Sonic Blast 30% / 20 sec / 60 sec cooldown; Bird of Prey Mine! 3 sec / 90 sec cooldown); Trueshot Aura raid-wide; one Fire and one Ice trap can be active, Fire Traps scale with Attack Power.
• 2026-10-08 — Unleashed Fury now really increases pet damage; Disengage threat drop doubled; pet health regen bug fixed.
• 2026-09-24 — Furious Howl Attack Power bonus -40%; Tame Beast no longer works on beasts above your level.
