Arcane Mage in WoW Forever

Arcane is built around new talents: (1.5 sec cast) gives you 15% of your Intellect as spell damage per cast, up to 4 stacks for 15 sec. is a 2-point talent (second row since the October 28 hotfix) and procs fast, free . The new 16-point talent is a big 3.5 sec nuke that scales with your max Mana (6 sec cooldown). It hits hard and burns mana just as fast. Guides level Frost or Fire first and switch to Arcane later.

Rotation
Short- Pull with to slow the target.
- Cast to build stacks: each one adds spell damage for 15 sec.
- When procs, cast : faster and free. Missile hits can proc it too.
- With stacks up, cast when its cooldown is ready (exact order to verify in game).
- Finish low targets with your wand or to save mana. Stand still for 0.5 sec before the wand fires.
- From level 30: + to end a fight fast.

- PvE: guides disagree (beta). Hit and Spell Power at the top, then Intellect, Spirit and Crit. To verify in game

Recommended professions
- Tailoring + Enchanting: cloth gear while leveling and your own wands.
- Engineering is the other common pick for raid and PvP.

- 2026-10-28 — Hotfix (build 70685): Arcane Focus removed; moves to the first row and to the second.
- 2026-10-15 — October 15 patch: redesigned (1.5 sec cast, Intellect to spell damage per stack, 40% lower damage); now a 2-point first-row talent.
- 2026-10-15 — October 15 patch: new 16-point talent (3.5 sec cast, scales with 5% of max Mana, 6 sec cooldown).
- 2026-10-01 — Comprehension scrolls rebalanced and no longer castable while moving.
- 2026-09-24 — checks line of sight only when the channel starts.
