Which teleports, when

LevelAllianceHorde
20Teleport: Stormwind, Teleport: IronforgeTeleport: Orgrimmar, Teleport: Undercity
30Teleport: DarnassusTeleport: Thunder Bluff
  • You learn them from your Mage trainer.
  • Portals for other players: one guide says level 40. Not known yet, the beta stops at level 30.

What a teleport costs

  1. 120 mana.
  2. 1 Rune of Teleportation per cast. Runes stack to 10.
  3. 10 second cast. It only takes you, the caster.

Two more travel spells

  • Blink (level 20): teleports you 20 yards forward and frees you from stuns and immobilizes. 15 sec cooldown.
  • Slow Fall (level 12): slows your fall for 30 sec. It uses a Light Feather, the same reagent as Study at the library. → Mage Comprehension

Why it matters in Forever

  • There are no summoning stones in WoW Forever. Meeting stones don't teleport you.
  • Alliance: the Skydome Portal at the top of the Wizard's Sanctum (Stormwind Mage Quarter) leads to Dalaran. Teleport: Stormwind gets you back to Stormwind.
  • Horde: since October 15, Horde players are attacked on sight in Dalaran.

Goblin tips

  • Carry a few Runes of Teleportation: no rune, no ride. Where to buy them in Forever: to verify.
  • Keep Light Feathers in your bags too: they feed both Slow Fall and Study.
  • Group far from town? Your teleport only moves you, and portals for others are not in the level 30 beta.

"Everyone else pays for wings. You pay one rune. That's a margin, friend."
